Affiliate commissions
Many outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same, and the commission has no effect on scores, rankings or whether a product appears at all.
Programmes we belong to
We participate in the Amazon EU Associates Programme and in affiliate networks including Awin and Sovrn, which represent UK retailers such as Currys, Argos, John Lewis, Dreams and Decathlon UK.
Advertising
We sell a limited number of display and newsletter placements. Paid placements are always labelled as advertising and are kept visually separate from editorial content.
Review samples
Most products are bought at retail. Where a brand supplies a sample, we say so on the review, and samples are returned or donated after testing. Accepting a sample never guarantees coverage or a positive verdict.
Prices and availability
Prices are shown in pounds sterling, include VAT where applicable, and are correct at the time of publishing. Retailers change prices frequently — always confirm the price on the retailer's own page before buying.
Your consumer rights
Purchases are made with the retailer, not with us, so returns, warranties and refunds are handled under your contract with them and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
