A three-person review desk in Manchester

JAM LLC started in 2023 after we got tired of “best of” lists written by people who had clearly never opened the box. We buy products at UK retail, live with them for a fortnight or more, and only then decide whether they earn a place on the site.

We cover five categories: tech, home, kitchen, fitness and outdoors. Everything is priced in pounds and checked against UK retailers such as Amazon UK, Currys, Argos, John Lewis and Decathlon. If a price rises after publishing, the deal comes down.

How we test

• Minimum two weeks of real household use before any verdict is written.
• Like-for-like comparison against at least two competing products.
• Battery, noise and runtime claims measured rather than repeated.
• Every review re-checked quarterly; outdated picks are removed, not hidden.

Editorial independence

Brands cannot buy a ranking. Advertising and affiliate teams have no say over the editorial verdict, and any sample provided by a brand is stated on the review. If we get something wrong, email us and we'll correct it publicly.
